Argentina tennis side are hopeful for the Davis Cup
Argentina tennis stars think they can hopefully give Russia something to worry about at the Davis Cup final at the Olympic Sports Complex in Moscow, which starts on Friday.
"We do not consider ourselves to be clear underdogs," Argentina team captain Alberto Mancini explained, and he added: "We are capable of playing quality tennis and we will do our best to win."
Nikolay Davydenko and Marat Safin will spearhead the Russian team's challenge and Argentina's hopes will rely mostly on David Nalbandian.
Both sides remain unchanged from their semi-final triumphs with Jose Acasuso, Agustin Calleri and Juan Ignacio Chela completing the Argentinean line-up, and Guillermo Canas, who has just finished a 15-month ban after testing positive for a banned substance, has been named as a reserve player.
Russia will be taking part in the Davis Cup final for the first time since defeating France to win the 2002 title, and Argentina, who were beaten by the United States in the 1981 final, are making only their second appearance at the event.
