Andy Roddick to face Andy Murray at Wimbledon
American tennis star Andy Roddick has beaten Australia's Lleyton Hewitt to face Scotsman Andy Murray in the semi-finals of Wimbledon.
Roddick comfortably won the first set but then Hewitt levelled the score in the second-set tie-break.
Hewitt had an injury to his leg that allowed Roddick to claim the third-set tie-break, however, the Australian star battled his way back and a decider was needed before Roddick was eventually victorious with a 6-3 6-7 (10-12) 7-6 (7-1) 5-7 6-4 winning score.
The battle between Roddick and Hewitt, who are both former number one tennis players, went on for an epic three hours 50 minutes of play.
Murray will be facing Roddick on Friday for a place in the final and the Scottish star has set his heart on being Wimbledon champion this year. It remains to be seen if he will succeed with his goal.
