Andy Murray claims tennis games are fixed
Tennis star Andy Murray has been asked to meet with the ATP following his claims that tennis games are being fixed to make extra money.
Andy Murray has been reported to have said that he thinks that matches on the men's ATP Tour are being set up and that most tennis players know about the practice.
Andy Murray said: "It is pretty disappointing for all the players, but everyone knows that it goes on,
"It's difficult to prove. They can try their best until the last games in each set and then make some mistakes, hit a couple of double faults and that's it."
Andy Murray thinks the chance of some extra money is simply too much for some players to miss out on and he explained: "There are some guys who have to come to tournaments every single week and out of their first-round-loser's cheque - about 2,500 euros - they have to pay for their air fares."
The ATP say they view the matter as very serious and will be investigating the matter.
