Andy Murray aims to recover from injuries in time for Miami

murray Scottish tennis star Andy Murray says he is sure he can recover sufficiently from ankle and hip injuries in time to take part in the Miami Masters Series event this week.

Andy Murray was injured last week at Indian Wells and he said: "I'll take a couple of days off, see the physios, and hopefully I'll be OK," adding that: "The injuries are not too bad.

And Andy Murray also said with confidence: "I might ask for my first match to be on Friday; I'm 90% sure I'll be fine."

However, Andy Murray admitted that it probably would have been better to have withdrawn from the Indian Wells semi-final with Novak Djokovic after he had sustained an injury in the quarter-final playing against Tommy Haas.

"I didn't know how I was going to feel until I got on court, and I had a bit of an unprofessional decision on my part to go on," Andy Murray explained with hindsight.
