Andy Murray's comeback fails as he loses to Fabio Fognini
Scottish tennis star Andy Murray's comeback to the action after recent injury failed badly when he was beaten 6-2 6-2 by Fabio Fognini in the second round of the Montreal Masters.
Italian player Fabio Fognini won the first set as Andy Murray, who had been away from sport for three months due to a wrist injury, was clearly having problems in the breezy conditions at the time.
But Fabio Fognini continued to be in control and gained a 4-1 lead.
Andy Murray lost his temper and accused the umpire of "not concentrating," but his opponent Fabio Fognini kept his command and took the set with his third ace.
Andy Murray had managed to rescue a break but Fabio Fognini broke again to win the game.
Fabio Fognini goes forward to either a meeting with top seed Roger Federer or Ivo Karlovic.
