Andy Murray's brother Jamie Murray wins AT&T Challenger
Andy Murray's tennis-playing older brother Jamie Murray claimed the first doubles title of his career with a 6-4 6-7 (4-7) 10-7 tie-break win at the final of the AT&T Challenger tournament and the victory takes Jamie Murray up to 65th in the doubles world rankings.
Jamie Murray, 20, had American tennis star Eric Butorac as his partner for the victory against Rajeev Ram and Bobby Reynolds at the event in Dallas.
"Jamie practised a lot against Eric on grass courts and they became quite good friends, so they teamed up," Jamie and Andy Murray's mother Judy explained.
And referring to her son's past work with Eric Butorac, Judy Murray continued: "This was only their second event together - the first was in Los Angeles last year, when they reached the final and lost to the Bryans.
"So it's a good start for them and it will take Jamie's ranking up to 65, which will be the highest yet."
