Thunderstorms stop swimming at European Championships in Budapest
Thunderstorms caused a major problem at the European Championships in Budapest and brought the swimming events to an early finish on Tuesday.
The outdoor venue became impossible for any further action to take place at as rain poured down and thunder rumbled loudly in the sky.
The women's 200m backstroke final was among the contests that had to be postponed and will now be raced on Wednesday.
