Snooker star Ronnie O'Sullivan thinking of retiring
Snooker star Ronnie O'Sullivan who has just taken the number one spot in the world, has surprisingly admitted that he thinks he only has a short time left in the sport.
Ronnie O'Sullivan, 32, claimed the title with a 10-2 victory against Stephen Maguire in the Maplin UK Championship and in so doing he ended a 32-month win drought in ranking events in snooker.
Ronnie O'Sullivan explained his thoughts of retirement: "I haven't got long. I always said I wanted to go out on a high, which means winning a big tournament.
"At 8-0 I thought, Is this the time? But it's too early for me to quit now."
Ronnie O'Sullivan has calmed down a lot from his youthful exuberance as he has got older but he hinted that he would really like to carry on a while longer.
"People want to watch me playing. Every time I've played this week it's been packed, and I've been blown away because it shows how much fans really want to see me play," Ronnie O'Sullivan said.
