Snooker star Ronnie O'Sullivan beats Liu Chang
Snooker star Ronnie O'Sullivan had a real battle on his hands as he went into a 5-4 lead against Liu Chang at the close of the opening session of their first-round match at The Crucible.
Ronnie O'Sullivan appeared to be in his usual excellent form at the star of the game, with breaks of 76 and 87 taking him into a 3-0 lead, however, 17-year-old Liu fought back well with a 92.
32-year-old O'Sullivan had plenty of advantages against his young and inexperienced opponent who was at the Crucible for the first time ever and so it was easy to think that the experienced star would find it an easy match.
However, after starting well Ronnie O'Sullivan missed out several times on balls he would normally pot easily and the worse his performance got the more it inspired confidence in his rival Liu.
The final frame was a continued struggle for both snooker stars but the victoty went in the end to Ronnie O'Sullivan.
