Welsh golfers Bradley Dredge and Stephen Dodd defend title
Welsh golfers Bradley Dredge and Stephen Dodd know that few will be supporting them when they defend their World Cup title in Barbados this week.
Even though the two golf players won a rainy tournament in Portugal a year ago, they accept they will be starting the 24-team event on Thursday as underdogs.
"Our form probably isn't quite as good as we'd like going into our defence," said Bradley Dredge and he added: "But it's an event where you can get fired up and come from nowhere."
Bradley Dredge and Stephen Dodd were two shots ahead of English golf stars Luke Donald and David Howell and Sweden's Niclas Fasth and Henrik Stenson when the rain ruined the final round of last year's tournament.
"It was the best rain I've ever watched," said Stephen Dodd.
"It would have been nice to have won over four days but we'll take winning over three days," Stephen Dodd added.
