US golf star Tiger Woods is feeling optimistic

tiger woodsUS golf star Tiger Woods is feeling optimistic about his chances as he gets ready for the Scottish Open this week at Turnberry.

Woods has been victorious in three tournaments already since he made a comeback in February after an operation had kept him away from the sport for many months.

But now the world number one in golf is aiming for a 15th major title and thinks his chances a pretty good having finished in sixth place in both The Masters and US Open.

33-year-old Woods will be playing alongside English golf star Lee Westwood when the opening round gets under way on Thursday.

Woods is happy to be back in the Open after being forced to watch it on television last year because he was still recovering from his operation. Now he is back Woods aims to win if he can.
