Tiger Woods thinks fellow golf star Ernie Els needed more rehab
US golf star Tiger Woods thinks that fellow golfer Ernie Els from South Africa needed more of a rehabilitation programme after an operation on his knee back in 2005.
Els is only at number 20 in the world tennis rankings at present and has not been able to come up with a victory in his last 41 tournaments.
Woods is speaking from experience because he had similar surgery on his anterior cruciate ligament in 2008 that kept him away from the action for many months and from which he had to make his recovery.
Woods was talking before the Deutsche Bank Championship in Boston, and he said he thinks that Els needed to have worked more on recovering his full fitness and ability.
Back in 2006, Els, who has actually been number one in golf in the past in 1997 and 1998, said he had a three-year plan to topple Woods from the position.
