Tiger Woods shares second place with DA Points and Bryce Molde
American golf star Tiger Woods played his lowest round in almost two years to finish two shots behind Anthony Kim who is in the lead after the first round of the PGA National.
Woods ended up sharing joint runner-up position with D.A. Points and Bryce Molde at the event.
Kim's round of eight-under-par 62 had actually set a new record for the course as well as giving Woods a difficult performance to match.
Woods had started with back-to-back birdies and went on to add two more on the par-three seventh and par-five ninth but he said afterwards that it was good to have Kim as a rival to aim to catch up with.
Kim, who had completed his round just as Woods was starting his, was delighted with his success, which he attributed to getting some good breaks and coming up with some top quality shots.
