Tiger Woods retains Grand Slam of Golf title
American golf legend Tiger Woods fired a bogey-free six-under 66 to keep his PGA Grand Slam of Golf title.
Tiger Woods, 30, who ended the 36-hole competition at Hawaii's Poipu Beach on eight under, has now been the winner of the tournament seven times in eight starts.
Tiger Woods started day two three shots adrift of overnight leader Jim Furyk but finished two ahead of his compatriot.
This prestigious golf event is supposed to be contested by the four Major winners, but Tiger Woods won two of them (Open and USPGA) and Masters champion Phil Mickelson pulled out.
Jim Furyk got an invitation for finishing second on the PGA Tour money list and Mike Weir replaced Phil Mickelson.
Tiger Woods carded birdies on the second and third holes before he added two more to go into the turn as the leader.
"I certainly hit it better than I did yesterday," said Tiger Woods.
