Spanish golf legend Seve Ballesteros makes 90% recovery

seve ballesterosLegendary Spanish golf star Seve Ballesteros is reported to have made a 90% recovery following extensive surgery and follow-up chemotherapy to treat a brain tumour.

52-year-old Ballesteros has had a total of four operations and only recently made his first public appearance since he had been diagnosed with the tumour and had begun treatment for it.

Ballesteros says that he is now able to take part in sports again and he has been hitting golf balls once more.

Ballesteros had originally been discovered to have the brain tumour after he became unconscious at Madrid Airport and was taken into La Paz Hospital.

Ballesteros has admitted he has really suffered during his illness and says he still has to have a fifth round of chemo. However, the Spanish legend feels he is going to make a full recovery and he has already made a lot of progress.
