South Korean Sung Ah Yim beats Annika Sorenstam

yim South Korean golfer Sung Ah Yim claimed her maiden USLPGA Tour victory after Annika Sorenstam's form left her in the final day of the Florida's Natural Charity Championship.

Annika Sorenstam was tied with Sung Ah Yim with two to play but the Swedish star carved her tee shot out of bounds for a double bogey and dropped a shot at the last for a 75.

Sung Ah Yim stayed focused for a 72 and a 16-under-par total of 272.

American Christie Kerr and Australian Karrie Webb and Annika Sorenstam had to settle for a three-way tie for second place.

Welsh woman golfer Becky Morgan was the best of the British players on six under after a solid 69 and Scotland's Janice Moodie and Catriona Matthew finished on three under and two under respectively with Joanne Morley also on two under.

Part-time student Sung Ah Yim threw her ball excitedly into the crowd after her first win.

"I've never had that much concentration," said Sung Ah Yim. "I could hear my heart beating."
