Irish golfer Padraig Harrington thinks he needs more practice
Irish golf star Padraig Harrington thinks he may not have had enough practice and actual tournaments to get him to his optimum ability before he takes part in next month's Masters at Augusta.
37-year-old Harrington hopes he can become only the third person to ever win three majors in a row, but he admits he has not been playing as much as he could because he also didn't want to burn himself out by the PGA Championship in August.
Harrington, who is currently number five in golf for the world, successfully defended the Open at Birkdale in July 2008 and three weeks after that he won the USPGA Championship.
Harrington will be playing alongside other top stars from golf's elite, including Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh and Trevor Immelman, who will also be taking part at the Arnold Palmer invitational event at Bay Hill this week. And although he is concerned that he is perhaps not at his best, Harrington is still very pleased with his current form.
