Irish golfer Darren Clarke plays well at BMW Asian Open
Irish golf star Darren Clarke showed how well he can play at the BMW Asian Open when he scored a three-under-par 69 in the second round.
39-year-old Clarke is four under par, and following only one shot behind Robert-Jan Derksen and Zhang Lian-Wei who share the lead.
Darren Clarke feels that his better performance was all due to his putting, and he explained: "I worked with a guy last week on my alignment and it feels a lot better."
But Clarke has had the good and the bad in the way of results on the European Tour this season so far, claimng an impressive third in the South African Airways Open but clearly in trouble at the Open de Andalucia.
"It has been a difficult time as I have not been playing as well as I would have liked," Darren Clarke admitted.
