Ian Poulter boasts in Golf World he could rival Tiger Woods
Golf star Ian Poulter has been boasting in Golf World magazine that he is the only professional golfer good enough to challenge Tiger Woods.
Ian Poulter, 32, is world number 22 but he was praising Tiger Woods highly at the same time and he said: "The trouble is I don't rate anyone else."
Ian Poulter went on to explain: "Don't get me wrong, I respect everyone who is a professional. But the problem is I haven't played to my full potential yet. And when that happens it will just be me and Tiger."
World number one Tiger Woods has 13 majors and 85 career titles on his incredible past record, and by comparison Ian Poulter has won seven tournaments.
Ian Poulter, however, reckoned that it would be the world number one who would win the Masters in April, and he said: "Put Tiger down for that one".
Ian Poulter is courting publicity and pictured nude in the magazine with only a golf bag concealing his private parts.
But Ian Poulter had to admit that in reality he was nowhere near Tiger Woods just yet.
