Golfer Tiger Woods' mother-in-law taken into hospital
US golfer Tiger Woods has just been in the news because he was injured in a car accident outside his house and now his mother-in-law has also needed medical treatment. She has been described as in a stable condition after she was taken to hospital from the star's home in an ambulance.
A spokesman for Health Central Hospital has explained that Barbro Holmberg had been taken in because she was suffering from pain in her stomach.
Woods' mother-in-law had been on a visit to see her daughter Elin, whom Woods has been married to for five years.
Health Central Hospital is the same hospital as the one that Woods was treated in following the car crash that took place outside his home when his vehicle went into a fire hydrant and a tree and he had to be rescued by his wife who broke in through a window.
