Golfer Soren Hansen wins Mercedes-Benz Championships
Danish golf star Soren Hansen made a four-shot win in the Mercedes-Benz Championship in Cologne on Sunday after two late eagles.
Soren Hansen, 33, carded a five-under-par 67 to finish on 17 under and, in doing so, managed to win his second career title.
Soren Hansen joined the European Tour in 1999, and he won the Irish Open in 2002, although he had never managed to keep on playing as well as he has done this season in golf.
Soren Hansen proudly said: "Throughout the week I played tremendous, the best golf I've ever played."
Soren Hansen added: "I had a really good feeling coming into this event and I'm very proud to have beaten 77 of the best players in Europe."
