Golfer Ernie Els thinks Tiger Woods can be beaten
Golf star Ernie Els says golfers playing against the legendary Tiger Woods at the World Match Play Championship must stay focused on their own rounds to be in with a chance of beating him.
Ernie Els has actually won the event six times so he knows what it takes, although he has a mixed record when playing against Tiger Woods.
Ernie Els said: "Tiger is an unbelievable talent, but I think players should play their own game."
Tiger Woods, who has been paired with Shaun Michael in the first round, is aiming for his sixth straight tournament win.
The South African golfer was paired with Tiger Woods as the leading group for the third round of the Open at Hoylake.
Both the golf stars came away with 71s - although Ernie Els ended up third to eventual winner Tiger Woods.
"When I played with him at the Open in the third round I tried to play my own game," added Ernie Els.
