Golf star Tiger Woods plays a disappointing round
US golf star Tiger Woods lost out on having a good chance of claiming victory at the 73rd Masters when he only came up with playing a disappointing round on the third day at Augusta.
Woods, who is currently world number one in golf, was admittedly taking part in his first major event since making a return to the sport earlier this year. Woods had been away from golf for many months after he had undergone knee surgery last year and needed to recover full fitness.
Nevertheless, Woods was still optimistic although he acknowledged that he had started his game in a very poor fashion.
Padraig Harrington, like Woods, also failed to play as well as he could and didn't have much success in his round when he finished one under after a 73.
Both Woods and Harrington will need some of the leading players to play very badly indeed now to have any chance of getting a winning result at the Masters.
