English golfers Anthony Wall, Simon Khan and John Bickerton for USPGA championship
English golfing trio Anthony Wall, Simon Khan and John Bickerton are looking forward to playing their first major in the United States at next week's USPGA championship and invitations for this have been sent to every member of the world's top 100.
Simon Khan (70th), Anthony Wall (74th) and John Bickerton (94th) will be among 34 Europeans taking part in the action.
The USPGA event starts a week on Thursday at Medinah near Chicago and it is the same course where Tiger Woods held off Sergio Garcia in a memorable duel for the USPGA title in 1999.
Golf star Justin Rose, who has dropped to 127th in the world rankings, will also be playing his first major since 2004.
The USPGA championship is the final counting event in the American Ryder Cup race and the third last in the European points battle.
