After Nick Faldo's wildcard picks Paul Azinger chooses his
 Following European captain Nick Faldo's wildcard picks, US golf skipper Paul Azinger has announced his choice and Chad Campbell, Steve Stricker, Hunter Mahan and JB Holmes are named for this month's Ryder Cup.
Campbell is the only one of the four lucky golfers with any previous experience of playing at the Ryder Cup.
Holmes, who comes from Kentucky and has played the Valhalla course where the event takes place, is the only wildcard pick made by Azinger to have won an event this year.
Mahan was chosen although he had made the mistake of saying that golf players were "slaves" during tournament week, and Stricker had just missed out on automatic qualification for the team.
Azinger's wildcard picks will join Stewart Cink, Phil Mickelson, Kenny Perry, Jim Furyk, Anthony Kim, Ben Curtis, Justin Leonard and Boo Weekley in the American line-up that is missing Tiger Woods, who is left out due to injury.
