Luxembourg rider Frank Schleck wins Tour de France stage 15
Luxembourg rider Frank Schleck won stage 15 of the Tour de France and American cyclist Floyd Landis went back into the race's lead.
Team CSC's Frank Schleck dropped Italy's Damiano Cunego 2km from the top of L'Alpe d'Huez and finished one minute 10 seconds before Floyd Landis.
Oscar Pereiro, who began the day in the yellow jersey, is now trailing Phonak's Floyd Landis by 10 seconds overall.
Italian Stefano Garzelli was in third place while it was too difficult for world champion Tom Boonen who pulled out of the race.
Frank Schleck, who was part of an 18-man breakaway, which escaped from the peloton early in the race, rode in a most impressive performance.
Frank Schleck, who was in his debut race and who is the first rider from Luxembourg to win an Alpe d'Huez stage, rode alongside Damiano Cunego before his final burst of power that carried him through to victory.
"I don't really realise what I've done yet," said a proud Frank Schleck.
