Cyclist Nicole Cooke all set for Manchester Velodrome
Cyclist Nicole Cooke will be back in action at the Manchester Velodrome for this coming weekend's Track World Cup meet.
Nicole Cooke will look to follow her success in the recent Revolution
10 cycling event and will contest the points race (Friday) and the
scratch (Sunday).
Nicole Cooke is also set to name her new team and sponsors for next
season, having split with her Italian Safi-Pasta Zara-Manhatten outfit.
"It's going to be another step in my education on the track," Nicole Cooke said on her official website.
"I've still only raced on the boards a couple of times as a senior.
"I really enjoyed the experience of Revolution 10 last month, and am
looking forward to testing myself on the international stage," Nicole
Cooke said.
Wales' Geraint Thomas and Ross Sander will compete in the men's point race.
