Cyclist Bradley Wiggins looks ahead in Manchester

Britain's leading cyclists will be heading for Manchester Velodrome this Saturday for Revolution 10 and Manchester-based Olympic champion Bradley Wiggins will head up the British contingent.

Chris Hoy and Jason Queally are the other Olympic gold medallists in action on track, while Nicole Cooke leads the women's field.

bradleywiggins "It's always great to be back at Revolution," said Bradley Wiggins. "The crowds always get behind the home riders."

Bradley Wiggins will team up with team pursuit world champion Chris Newton in the madison and will start as favourites in the 14-team field.

And Bradley Wiggins, the triple Olympic champion, added: "Chris is an aggressive rider so we'll be looking to mix it up in the madison and give the crowd something to cheer about. It will be a great race to watch."
