British cyclist David Millar has admitted that he lost control of his
life and drank heavily after received a two-year doping ban.

will now be making a comeback to cycling at this year's Tour de France.
David Millar was dropped by his Cofidis team after he admitting taking
the blood-booster EPO but he has since been signed by Spanish team
Saunier Duval.
David Millar will be representing them for the first time at the Tour
prologue in July and because he has done very well in this event before
he is confident he will do well again.
David Millar said that he "lost everything" following the ban,
and had to sell his home in Biarritz, France, and ended up sleeping on
the floor of his sister's flat in London.
Luckily, however, after this very bad patch he managed to pull his life back together.

to other people about doping.
David Millar thinks that critics would always be sceptical of his drug-free status.
