Agritubel, Team CSC and Barloworld for Tour of Britain
Agritubel, Team CSC and Barloworld, who are three of the cycling teams who were in this year's Tour de France, have now announced they will also take part in this year's Tour of Britain, from 9-15 September.
Agritubel, Team CSC and Barloworld are among 16 teams participating in the event. Five of the cycling teams are British and include Team Great Britain.
It has been reported that Team Great Britain is also in talks with David Millar and Geraint Thomas about them taking part in the line-up.
The Tour of Britain race will begin at Crystal Palace and ends in Glasgow.
The 950km route for the race goes through the south of England, Somerset and the West Midlands, and then passes through Yorkshire before finishing in Scotland.
It will be the fourth time the Tour of Britain has been held since it was re-established in 2004.
