World champion boxer Scott Harrison arrested in Glasgow pub brawl
World champion featherweight boxer Scott Harrison has been arrested following a brawl at a pub in the centre of Glasgow and it is understood that officers used CS gas to restrain the fighter during the incident.
Scott Harrison, 29, from Cambuslang, was detained along with two other men at the Counting House bar in St Vincent Street on Saturday afternoon.
All three men were taken to Stewart Street Police Station and are due to appear in court in Glsgow on Monday.
Scott Harrison's promoter Frank Maloney said he was aware of the matter, but declined to make any further comment.
A police spokeswoman said: "Three men aged, 20, 29 and 30 have been arrested and are detained in police custody following a disturbance in a public house on St Vincent Street."
Scott Harrison is currently training to defend his WBO featherweight title against Mexican Martin Honorio in Belfast in May.
