Welsh boxer Bradley Pryce faces Martin Concepcion
Welsh boxer Bradley Pryce will be facing Martin Concepcion on 6 October at the Nottingham Arena in the fifth defence of his Commonwealth light middleweight belt, and the fight will take place on the undercard of Amir Khan v Scott Lawton.
Newport's Bradley Pryce said of his opponent: "Concepcion is a puncher, but when you spar with the likes of Joe Calzaghe and Enzo Maccarinelli it'll take someone special to knock you out."
Leicester boxer Martin Concepcion, 26, has stopped nine of his 16 opponents so far, but has also been defeated four times, three of those times were stoppages.
In his last fight Martin Concepcion beat previously unbeaten Matthew Hall by a first round knock out.
Bradley Pryce, who is also 26 has been having a very successful and impressive recent career, with five straight wins, which took his record to 25-6 (15 KOs).
Bradley Pryce is reported to have said: "Seeing Joe, Enzo, Gavin [Rees] and Gary [Lockett] do so well in our gym is really spurring me on."
