Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko faces Sultan Ibragimov
Ukrainian IBF heavyweight champion boxer Wladimir Klitschko is going to have the most difficult fight in his entire career when he faces Russian Sultan Ibragimov, his trainer Emanuel Steward has said.
Emanuel Steward said: "He will be the best fighter that Wlad will have fought in his career."
The fight between Wladimir Klitschko and Sultan Ibragimov will take place at New York's Madison Square Garden on 23 February and will unify two of the four heavyweight world titles.
Sultan Ibragimov, 32, had gained the title of WBO champion when he beat Evander Holyfield in Moscow in October 2007.
Wladimir Klitschko is four inches taller and over a stone heavier than his opponent but whether this will be to his advantage in the fight remains to be seen.
Wladimir Klitschko is well aware of what a tough opponent Sultan Ibragimov is and he said: "This guy is very intelligent, a smart fighter. He is a champion. He is holding a title and he is undefeated and won a silver medal at the 2000 Olympics."
