Ricky Hatton confident of beating Jose Luis Castillo
English boxer Ricky Hatton says Mexican fighter Jose Luis Castillo's style will suit him just fine when he faces his opponent in Las Vegas on 23 June for the IBO light welterweight title.
Ricky Hatton, 28, is hoping to recapture the glory of his best win to date, which happened when he fought against Kostya Tszyu two years ago.
Ricky Hatton explained: "I think this will be a similar fight to my Kostya Tszyu fight. This really is my kind of fight.
"Styles make fights and we are two people who don't take a backward step."
Ricky Hatton added: "People have DVDs of great fights on their shelves and I want a Ricky Hatton fight to be one of those."
Ricky Hatton has reason to be so confident having won all of his 42 fights but Jose LuisCastillo, who has lost seven of his 55 bouts, thinks his rival has so far only fought against inferior opponents and he claimed: "I don't think for one minute Ricky Hatton's record bears any comparison with mine."
