Ray Hatton says boxer Ricky to fight 5 times in next 2 years
Ray Hatton, who is the father and manager of boxer Ricky Hatton, says that his son will fight another five times over the next two years.
Ricky Hatton, 29, was defeated for the first time 11 days ago when Floyd Mayweather won by a stoppage.
However, an undaunted Ricky Hatton has said he is continuing as a boxer and Ray Hatton revealed his son will have two fights in 2008 and three more fights the year after.
Ray Hatton said that Junior Witter wasn't next in line as an opponent for Ricky Hatton but said that it was likely that they will face each other at some point.
Ray Hatton is reported to have said: "It's really too early to say who he'll take on next, but it will be a world-ranked opponent, as Ricky's got to get up for it. I can see a Junior Witter fight at some stage, but not right now."
