Newport boxer Bradley "Sugar Sweet" Pryce aims for world title
Newport boxer and Commonwealth light middleweight champion Bradley Pryce feels he is ready to fight for a world title.
Bradley Pryce, 26, who is nicknamed "Sugar Sweet," has just successfully defended his belt for the fifth time when he knocked out Martin Concepcion in Nottingham on Saturday in the third round of the bout.
Bradley Pryce's record now stands at 26-6 (16 KOs) and he has not been beaten since October 2005.
Bradley Pryce is reported to have said: "One more defence then I want a title shot in the middle of next year, I spoke to promoter Frank Warren, he said he's making it happen,
"When Frank says that, he delivers. My performances are already at world level.
"I'm sparring in my Newbridge gym with world champions Joe Calzaghe, Enzo Maccarinelli and Gavin Rees under one of the best trainers in the world."
