Luton boxer Graham Earl confident he will beat Amir Khan

earl Luton boxer Graham Earl is feeling confident about his chances of beating Amir Khan on Saturday and he says his opponent's camp have seriously underestimated him.

Graham Earl has called Amir Khan "a thorn in my side."

Amir Khan and Graham Earl are battling for the Commonwealth lightweight title, and Amir Khan will be making the second defence of his title in his hometown of Bolton on his 21st birthday.

Graham Earl, 30, is reported to have said: "They think I'm on the slide, especially after my defeat by Michael Katsidis. But they are going to be shocked. I'm a totally different fighter and I am hungrier than ever."

Amir Khan has, however, claimed that he knows what to expect from Graham Earl, but the latter fighter does not think Amir Khan will be able to cope with his actual ability as a boxer.

Graham Earl is hoping the fight with Amir Khan will provide him with a better position in boxing and look good on his profile whatever the outcome.
