Evander Holyfield aims for world heavyweight title
Evander Holyfield is planning to make another comeback and says he is confident he can reclaim a world heavyweight title.
The four-times champion has not boxed since he lost to Larry Donald in 2004 but Evander Holyfield is aiming to stage a comeback against a mystery opponent in July.
"I don't think there's a lot of people that want me to quit," said Evander Holyfield, who has earned an estimated £80m.
"If people really knew me, they know I'm supposed to be on top, and that's how I am supposed to retire," Evander Holyfield added.
Evander Holyfield, 43, had his medical licence to fight traken away by the New York State Athletic Commission after he lost to Larry Donald and he would need to get it back it before entering the boxing ring again.
As a point of interest, George Foreman is the oldest man in boxing history to become heavyweight champion and he won a version of the title aged 45 in 1994.
