Boxer Scott Gammer proud to be British heavyweight champ Boxer Scott Gammer says he is proud to join the elite band of seven Welshmen to be crowned British heavyweight champion.
"History means a lot, there are some great names of former champions and it's fantastic to be up with them," undefeated Scott Gammer said.
"It's always been one of the best titles to hold, that hasn't changed," Scott Gammer, 29, added.
The Pembroke Dock boxer's ninth-round stoppage of Mark Krence in Carmarthen made him the first Welsh fighter to hold the title since David Pearce in 1984.
Jack Petersen, Tommy Farr, Johnny Williams, Joe Erskine and Neville Meade are the other names on the list.
"The home support helped me a lot, I couldn't have asked for more from a sell-out crowd," said Scott Gammer proudly.
"I don't know what's next for me. Audley Harrison has been mentioned, but he's just one of many names and nothing has been signed," Scott Gammer added.
