Boxer Scott Gammer faces Danny Williams at Afan Lido
British heavyweight champion Scott Gammer will be in his home territory when he faces Danny Williams at the Afan Lido, Port Talbot, on 13 October after Gammer's manager Paul Boyce won the purse bid.
"This is easily the biggest fight of Scott's career," said Paul Boyce.
"We've got to make sure he's properly prepared for it. If Scott wins he'll get two voluntary defences against potentially easier opponents," Paul Boyce added.
Four British title wins would give Scott Gammer, 29, a much sought-after Lonsdale Belt but first he must defeat Danny Williams, 33, who lost his Commonwealth title to Matt Skelton last month.
Scott Gammer has 16 wins (9 KOs) and one draw to his credit since he turned professional boxer in 2002.
Danny Williams has an even more impressive record, which stands at 36-5 (29 KOs) including wins over Matt Skelton, Audley Harrison and Mike Tyson.
