Boxer Ricardo Mayorga faces Fernando Vargas
Boxers Ricardo Mayorga and Fernando Vargas, who are both past world champions face each other in Los Angeles on Friday.
Nicaraguan Ricardo Mayorga and American Fernando Vargas got into a brawl when the fight was announced earlier this year and have since been insulting each other ever since.
Ricardo Mayorga, 34, (28-6-1, 22 wins by KO) is up against FernandoVargas, 39, (26-4, 22 KOs) in a non-title super-middleweight boxing contest
Ricardo Mayorga is reported to have said: "Vargas is done as a fighter. He was great when he was in his prime, but he doesn't have anything left. He has taken too many shots."
And Fernando Vargas has claimed that this will be his last fight and but he is confident he will win in six rounds or less.
"I don't like anything about Mayorga, He talks a big game, but he's scared. I'm going to make him look stupid and finally shut him up," Fernando Vargas responded.
