Boxer Kevin Anderson defends title against Eamonn Magee
Scottish boxer Kevin Anderson is defending his British welterweight title against Northern Ireland's Eamonn Magee in Motherwell on Friday night.
Kevin Anderson, 24, is fighting again for the first time after losing his Commonwealth championship in February to Ali Nuumbembe.
Belfast fighter Eamonn Magee, 35, won the WBU welterweight title in 2003 and kept it for three years.
Kevin Anderson said: "I'm not fussy what kind of fight it is because whatever I do is going to be good enough," and he added: "The belt means a lot to me.
"This is my wee boy Sonny's belt and so Magee is going to have to go to the end of the world and back to take it from me."
However, his opponent is going to be a difficult man to defeat because Eamonn Magee has never been stopped in his 12-year professional career as a boxer.
