Boxer Franklin Egobe faces Scott Gammer
Because boxer Colin Kenna had to make a late withdrawal due to an injured nose, his late replacement Franklin Egobe will be fighting Scott Gammer in Neath on Sunday.
Nigerian Franklin Egobe, who lives in Romania and who is nicknamed "the Prince," has a record of 14-1 (10 KOs), but hasn't been in the boxing ring for a professional fight since 2004.
Former British heavyweight champion Scott Gammer, 30, was defeated by Danny Williams in March at the same Cwrt Herbert Sports Centre venue in Neath, but he has signed a new three year deal with promoter Paul Boyce.
Scott Gammer currently has a record of 17-1-1 (9 KOs), but he will find a worthy opponent in Franklin Egobe, who has been in the UK sparring with David Haye.
Paul Boyce commented: "Scott needs to look good in this,
"He is still rated around number four in Britain and the only people rated above him are Williams, Matt Skelton and Michael Sprott."
