Boxer David Haye to face Jean-Marc Mormeck in Paris
London boxer David Haye claims that the world title clash on Saturday with WBA and WBC cruiserweight champion Jean-Marc Mormeck in Paris will be the fight he has been dreaming of.
David Haye, 27, is reported to have said: "This is the fight I've been dreaming about since I was a little kid."
But David Haye said that the fight is likely to be his last at 200lb, which would mean that a super-fight with WBO champion Enzo Maccarinelli is very unlikely.
David Haye's last fight was at heavyweight and now he is aiming to make the weight because he plans to follow in Lennox Lewis's footsteps and to bid for the world heavyweight crown.
Jean-Marc Mormeck, 35, will have the advantage of fighting in his home country at the Palais des Sports Marcel Cerdan, in Levallois-Perret, near Paris.
However, David Haye has an impressive record of 18 stoppages in 19 bouts.
