Boxer Amir Khan aims to be a three-weight world champ
British boxer Amir Khan says he aims to become a three-weight world champion.
Amir Khan, 20, believes he will be make it to lightweight world champion within his next five encounters in the ring, and he is reported to have said: "I want to move up a couple of weights as well and win a couple more world titles."
Boxing promoter Frank Warren said that Amir Khan had "still got the L plates on" after his victory against Scottish fighter Willie Limond in July, but Amir Khan still maintains it won't be long before he becomes a world champion.
Amir Khan commented on Frank Warren's opinion saying: "Frank Warren has always said that he is going to take his time with me to win a world title because he wants me to go there and win it in style.
"I don't blame him, but it's just me being ambitious. I've got goals out there that I want to reach."
