Amir Khan knows little about Colin Bain his Scottish opponent

amirkhan British boxer Amir Khan admits he knows very little about Colin Bain, his Scottish opponent whom he will be facing in Cardiff on 8 July.

But promoter Frank Warren regards Colin Bain, beaten just once in 11 fights, as another step up for the 19-year-old.

Amir Khan said: "Hopefully we'll get some videos of Bain in action and I'll sit down with my trainer, Oliver Harrison, and study them."

Amir Khan says he is thrilled to be back in the Welsh capital, having had a fantastic reception when he beat Baz Carey at Cardiff International Arena in his second contest.

"It's going to be brilliant fighting there again, particularly in the stadium," Amir Khan said.

"It's a shame Joe Calzaghe isn't fighting, but it's still a great card to be on."

Super-middleweight boxing star Joe Calzaghe was forced to withdraw from the promotion due to injury.

Top of the bill is the rematch between Danny Williams and Matt Skelton.
