Amir Khan faces Jackson Williams and Danny Williams fights Matt Skelton
Amir Khan, 19, will face Norwich light welterweight Jackson Williams in
his sixth professional fight at London's ExCel on 25 February.
The Olympic silver medallist boxer will fight on the undercard of Danny Williams' heavyweight title clash with Matt Skelton.
24-year-old Jackson Williams, who is a sports science teacher at City College in his hometown, has won 12 of his 15 fights.
His latest fight was in December when he beat Tye Williams on points.
Jackson Williams has previously defeated Daniel Thorpe (twice) and Baz
Carey - both of whom Amir Khan has already also beaten in his early
career.
"It is a great opportunity for me and I know I will be a good opponent for Amir Khan," said Jackson Williams.
And Danny Williams is set to fight for Matt Skelton's British
heavyweight crown as well as his own Commonwealth title when the pair
also will be pitted against each other on 25 February.
The Brixton boxer was banned for six months from challenging for the
British crown after he pulled out of a bout with Matt Skelton last
July.
Danny Williams appealed, citing illness when he pulled out of the July
bout and, although the British Boxing Board of Control upheld the
decision, the ban was terminated.
