Paula Radcliffe disappointed by Christine Ohuruogu
World marathon record holder Paula Radcliffe has said she was disappointed by Christine Ohuruogu when she had admitted that she did not even try to get to one of her three missed doping tests.
Christine Ohuruogu had explained that she did not try to get to the test because she did not feel she had enough time to be there within the hour's deadline for arrival.
Paula Radcliffe explained: "It was a bit disappointing as I think most athletes' response would be to do as much as they could."
Christine Ohuruogu, 23, was given a year's suspension for missing the tests but she made a successful comeback to win 400m gold at the world championships.
Christine Ohuruogu has had an Olympic Games ban for her past offence overturned, and Paula Radcliffe voiced her support saying she agreed with the decision to let Christine Ohuruogu take part in the Games.
