American runners Xavier Carter and Jeremy Wariner for London Grand Prix
American runners Xavier Carter and Jeremy Wariner will be included in an all-star cast at the London Grand Prix on 28 July.
Xavier Carter, 20, who ran the second fastest 200m of all time, 19.63secs, in Lausanne last week, will be facing a field that includes Britain's Marlon Devonish.
Olympic and world 400m champion Jeremy Wariner set a new personal best of 43.62sec when he beat Xavier Carter over the distance at the Rome Golden League meeting on Friday.
Xavier Carter, a former wide receiver in American Football, will be up against fellow compatriot Wallace Spearman and Britain's Marlon Devonish in the 200m.
And Jeremy Wariner, 22, now fourth on the all-time 400m list, will be up against Britain's Tim Benjamin, who was victorious when he made a comeback from a spell away due to injury, at the trials for the European Championships on Sunday.
