NBA superstar Kevin Garnett joins Boston Celtics
NBA superstar Kevin Garnett, whose nicknames include "The Big Ticket", "KG", "The Kid" and "The Franchise," has joined the Boston Celtics from the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Kevin Garnett's achievements in the past include being voted Most Valuable Player of the 2003-04 NBA season and being named to seven All-NBA and All-Defensive Teams, and he is one of just five basketball players in league history to amass 19,000 points, 10,000 rebounds and 4,000 assists.
It is reported that Boston Celtics are sending five players plus two draft picks to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Kevin Garnett who, is an impressive 12-time NBA All-Star.
Kevin Garnett, 31, will be in the line up with star forward Paul Pierce and another new signing, guard Ray Allen, as Boston Celtics make their bid at doing much better in basketball, having finished with the second-worst record in the NBA last season (24-58).
